Chilean composer and keyboard player, Jaime Rosas is best known for his progressive rock career, spanning 20 years and 9 official recordings. Influenced by a wide array of composers and styles (from Beethoven to The Beatles; from Stravinsky to Emerson, Lake & Palmer; from Tchaikovsky to MUSE) his artistic vision could be summarized as a never ending path that must touch your brain, heart, and spirit. Rosas was a disciple of 12-tone composer and philosopher Roberto Escobar Budge (1926 - 2011). Through his development as a composer, he learned to synthesize his Master’s influence and his own (more popular) musical predilections, ending in a style that is both musically challenging and ear-friendly. Jaime Rosas believes profoundly in a Renaissance approach to life, so apart from being a musician he is a psychologist, MBA, runner, wine lover, and foodie.
